Welcome to Empowered Fitness Training. I’m Yaz—a Running Coach, Menopause Coach, GP, and mum of two—with a lifelong passion for movement, health, and helping others thrive.
I know first hand how powerful exercise can be for physical and mental wellbeing, and I understand the real-world challenge of balancing fitness with busy family and work life. That’s why I specialise in helping individuals of all backgrounds and fitness levels build strength, confidence, and endurance in ways that fit their lifestyles.
As a Menopause Coach, I offer tailored, evidence-based coaching both in-person and online. Whether you’re training for a race, building back your strength, or simply seeking consistency and support, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with purpose. Over the past 15 years, I’ve competed in many races including 10 marathons, an Ironman triathlon, and the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. This experience informs my coaching—from race prep to recovery, mindset to mileage—and enables me to guide clients with insight, empathy, and structure.
Through small, consistent steps, you can achieve powerful lifelong change. My home studio provides a private, welcoming space where we focus on your goals in a supportive, professional environment.
